ACADEMIC
WRITING
Led by seasoned professionals in the fields of research & academia, this
course will equip learners with the skills to conduct focused research and
present it in the form of an academic essay. Through mentored group
sessions, learners will cover topics such as how to craft a research
question, writing a literature review, referencing and citation, harnessing
AI writing tools and many others.
The course comprises intensive seminars with each session building on the learning from the previous one. Each session addresses a specific milestone in the research process. Through interactive peer and mentor feedback, students will be equipped with the requisite skills to critically evaluate sources, build arguments and present their findings in a structured and organized manner.

The course is open to students between classes 9-12 whose medium of instruction is English.

Course participants below the age of 18 years require the approval of their parent/guardian.

Extension: The Masterclass is designed to be completed within a specified time-frame. Should the participant require an extension, he/she may submit an application for consideration on a case by case basis.

The participant should be proficient in spoken and written English

A minimum of 6 out of 8 sessions are required to be attended in order to receive the completion letter.
